Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. All Tool365 tools run entirely in your browser — your data never leaves your device.
Last updated: January 23, 2026
Summary: Every Tool365 tool processes your data locally in your browser. Your content never reaches our servers. No sign-up, no tracking, no paywalls — ever.
Introduction
Tool365 ("we," "our," or "us") provides 50+ free browser-based utilities across text, code, image, security, CSS, design, PDF, and developer categories — all at tool365.vercel.app.
Tool365 does not require registration, authentication, or account creation of any kind. We do not collect, store, or process personal data or user-generated content.
Information We Do NOT Collect
Tool365 never collects, stores, or processes:
- Personal information (names, email addresses, phone numbers)
- User accounts or credentials
- Data you input into tools — JSON, code, text, images, files, etc.
- Passwords, secrets, or UUIDs generated by our security tools
- Files you upload for conversion or compression
- Payment information — all tools are permanently free
How Your Data is Processed
3.1 Client-Side Processing (Most Tools)
The majority of Tool365 tools process data entirely in your browser using native browser APIs:
- Web Crypto API — Password Generator, UUID Generator, SHA-256 Hash Generator, JWT tools. Uses OS-level entropy, not
Math.random(). - Canvas API — Image Compressor, PNG/JPG/WebP/SVG converters, Favicon Generator, Image Color Picker. No uploads, no server.
- PDF.js — PDF Merge, PDF Compressor. Files are processed in memory and never transmitted.
- JavaScript — All formatters, converters, text tools, and CSS generators run entirely in your browser tab.
Closing or refreshing the browser tab removes all data from memory immediately.
3.2 Tools That Contact External Services
A small number of tools require network requests to function. These are clearly identified:
- AI-powered tools (Tweet Generator, AI Prompt Optimizer) — Your prompt text is sent to an AI API to generate output. No data is stored after the response is returned.
- Social media downloaders (YouTube Thumbnail Downloader, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter Video Downloaders) — These tools request publicly accessible media from third-party platforms using the URL you provide. We do not store the URL or the media.
- Meta Tag Validator — Fetches the HTML of a URL you enter to audit its meta tags. The URL is not logged.
In all cases, only the minimum data required for the tool to function is transmitted, and nothing is retained after delivery.
Automatically Collected Information
4.1 Hosting & Server Logs
Tool365 is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may automatically collect standard server log data for technical and security purposes:
- IP addresses (anonymized where possible)
- Browser type and version
- Pages visited and date/time of access
- Referring URLs
This is used for diagnostics and performance only — not to identify or track individuals. See Vercel's privacy policy for details.
4.2 Analytics
We may use privacy-focused analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand general usage patterns like page views and traffic sources. These do not track individual users, use persistent identifiers, or set tracking cookies.
Data Security
Since we do not store user data, the attack surface is minimal. We additionally maintain:
- HTTPS encryption for all connections
- Regular dependency updates and security patches
- Protection against XSS, CSRF, and common web vulnerabilities
- Secure infrastructure via Vercel
Your Rights
Since we do not collect or store personal data, there is nothing to access, modify, or delete. You have full control over any data entered into our tools — it exists only in your browser tab. Closing the tab removes it entirely.
If you have concerns about data handled by third-party services (Vercel, Google AdSense), please refer to their respective privacy policies directly.
