Paste JSON and explore it as a collapsible tree with colour-coded types. Search across keys and values and the tree opens to every match, expand or collapse everything with one click, and copy the JSONPath or the value of any node. Large arrays are paged so big API responses stay responsive, and invalid JSON is reported with the line where it breaks. Everything runs in your browser, so your data is never uploaded.
What you get with JSON Tree Viewer.
Expand and collapse any object or array, or open the whole document at once.
Matches are highlighted and the tree opens to each one automatically.
Copy the exact path or the value of any node with one click.
Runs in your browser and pages long arrays so big responses stay smooth.
Follow these steps to get the best results.
Paste an API response or config file. The first two levels open automatically.
Type in the search box to highlight matching keys and values across the whole tree.
Hover a node (or tap on a touch screen) and use the link icon to copy its JSONPath, such as $.users[0].name.

Common questions about JSON Tree Viewer.
A JSON tree viewer shows JSON as nested, collapsible nodes instead of one long block of text, which makes it easier to understand the structure of an API response or configuration file.
No. Parsing and rendering happen in your browser, and nothing you paste is sent to a server.
Hover over any node (or tap it on a touch screen) and use the link icon. The path is copied in JSONPath form, for example $.users[0]["first-name"].
Containers render their first 100 children and load more on request. This keeps very large arrays fast; search still finds matches inside the hidden items.
Common causes are trailing commas, single quotes instead of double quotes, unquoted keys and comments. The error shows the line where parsing failed. Use the JSON Formatter to tidy valid JSON.
